La Hérissonnierè (The Hedgehog House) is a carefully restored traditional Anjou farmhouse set in the Loire Valley, between Angers and Tours and only 5 minutes drive from the Loire itself. It is some 15 minutes from the popular centre Saumur with its inspiring Chateau dominating its cobbled streets, medieval buildings and modern shops. We are also just a few minutes drive of the unspoiled French market town of Longué. We are an English owned business, and so can provide a blend of both English and French culinary traditions, advice on where to visit and language tips. We also have a full drinks licence.
